BRAND GHANA CONGRATULATES GHANAIANS AND

Ghanaians have shown that with good planning, preparation, fortitude and national unity, many good things such as the global victory the Ghana under 20 team the Black Satellites won can be achieved for Brand Ghana and place the country high on the global scene.

Ghanaian resilience and tenacity were exhibited last Friday October 16, 2009 when the Black Satellites beat a leading and a virtually unbeatable football nation, Brazil, at the FIFA World Youth Cup with 10 men most of the game.

Our experience in the Brand Ghana campaign has shown how the Ghanaian can be visionary, determined, and skilful, yet full of fun in times of difficulty. That the rest of the nation stood solidly behind the team, in the face of great odds, is most uplifting and deserves commendation.

The positive spirit and determination exhibited by the team is in tune with the our strategy to establish a compelling image for Brand Ghana to generate new social and economic possibilities for all Ghanaians

While congratulating the Satellites, we also express the hope that this victory will urge Ghanaians to be selfless and determined in the way we plan and implement our national development agenda.

As a country, we need to stay united and focused on drivers of our economic and social development. Together, we can achieve a more prosperous Ghana. The Satellites have shown the way. Once again, we say Ayekoo to all Ghanaians.
